Stetina's Sierra Prospect 2017

Thanks for volunteering! We appreciate your help in staging this new and exciting ride, envisioned by elite pro cyclist Peter Stetina.

Stetina's Sierra Prospect has activities planned for the entire weekend in Northstar Resort Village, starting on Friday night and leading to the ride on Sunday.

The ride is a Road Rally of timed segments, stocked aid stations and breathtaking vistas.
Two routes are offered: the "Express" (short) is a 50-mile ride with 3 timed segments, and the "Intrepid" is a 98-mile ride with 5 timed segments.

Peter himself chose the beneficiary of the ride, The High Fives Foundation, a Tahoe-based, national 501.c.3 non-profit organization which supports the dreams of mountain action sports athletes by raising injury prevention awareness while providing resources and inspiration to those who suffer life-altering injuries. Formed as a way to "pay-it-forward" by the founder from his own recovery to help injured athletes, the Foundation has helped 159 athletes to date since its inception in 2009.
